AI search and assistants
Files in. Searchable, answerable knowledge out.
Building search or a chat assistant over your own files starts with reading them properly. OCRs.ai does the reading, the checking, the splitting and the loading, so the part you actually want to build is the part you start with.
What you get back
Every chunk arrives labelled.
A chunk is one searchable piece of a file. Ours carry the file they came from, the page they sit on and the kind of block they were, so results can be filtered and traced without extra bookkeeping on your side.

}Why it matters
Retrieval is only as good as the reading.
Chunks that follow the document
Text is split along real structure — headings, paragraphs, table rows — instead of arbitrary character counts, so a single answer is never cut in half.
Every chunk keeps its labels
File name, page number, block type, job and project travel with each chunk, so you can narrow a search to one customer, one file or one page.
Neighbours stay linked
Each chunk knows what came before and after it, so an assistant can pull in surrounding context when a short passage is not enough.
Written where you already work
Embeddings land in Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate or your own Postgres. Any AI framework that reads those stores works on day one — no second pipeline.
Answers you can trace
Because positions and page numbers are preserved, every answer can cite the exact page it came from instead of asking people to trust it.
Checked before it is indexed
The quality-control pass runs before chunking, so misread figures never get embedded and quietly poison search results later.
From file to answer
Put one document through and search it the same minute.
